ParaTracker Privacy Policy

ParaTracker (package com.gha.kit) is a ghost-hunting field kit for Android. This policy describes what the app accesses and why.

No account

ParaTracker does not create user accounts, does not require a login, and does not run its own analytics or advertising SDKs.

Data stored on the device

Settings (theme, language, volume) are saved locally on the phone. Spirit Box word hits and EVP recordings you save stay in the app’s private storage until you delete them. They are not uploaded to us.

Microphone

The microphone is used only when you open Spirit Box (Air) or EVP and grant permission.

• EVP records audio on the device so you can play, reverse, slow, save, or delete clips.
• Spirit Box Air uses Android speech recognition to pick isolated words from the hop stream. Recognition may be processed by Google’s speech service on your device or, if offline recognition is unavailable, over the network according to your Google account / system speech settings. ParaTracker does not receive a copy of that audio on our servers (we do not operate servers for this app).

Internet

Internet access is used to load public talk/news radio streams for Spirit Box Air (via Radio Browser and station CDNs). Stream hosts see a standard network request (IP address, user agent). We do not log those requests.

Sensors

Magnetometer, accelerometer, and related sensors are read on-device for EMF, Radar, Geophone, and Spirit Box Bank. Sensor samples are not transmitted.

Children

ParaTracker is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
